A Fresh New Site

02.04.14 | by Suzette Andres | General News

If you haven’t had a chance to stop down and visit our Center, take a few minutes and browse our redesigned website where you’ll be able to look through our Photo Gallery or Watch a Video.

We are very excited to be able to offer a fresh new site filled with valuable resources that can help you in managing daily stress and anxiety. You’ll find a much improved resource section as well as quick reads for what’s happening weekly at the Center. There are book recommendations (items that can be checked out at our Center), sneak peeks inside our beautifully renovated firehouse and even a video that paints a picture of who we are. In addition, we are very excited about this section … our blog!

At least twice a month, and sometimes more often, you’ll be able to look Through the Lens of another. We hope to offer a variety of pieces by contributing writers where thoughts, struggles and most importantly successes are shared.

Hopefully these shared stories, poetry, artwork and insights we’ll be able to offer encouragement to a wider audience and continue to break down the stigmas associated with mental health.

If you’d like to contribute a piece to our blog, please email the director to learn more. Please check back soon as our first contributor author Hannah shares how it feels to fight anxiety every day.

Suzette Andres is a professional writer and the executive director of the Anxiety Resource Center.
